We’re excited to announce the promotion of Alexandru Nechita to Head of DATAmundi’s AI Data Solutions Business Unit. 

Proven Expertise in Data Quality and Innovation 

Alexandru joined DATAmundi in March 2025 as Data Process Improvement Manager and has made a significant impact in optimizing processes, enhancing workflows, and strengthening the company’s overall commitment to quality. Before joining DATAmundi, Alexandru spent four years at Amazon, where he served as Head of Multilingual Data Quality. In that role, he led initiatives to develop multilingual datasets for AI model training, working closely with data scientists and language engineers to improve LLM data quality and performance across multiple languages. 

With a master’s degree in data science and a strong background in machine learning and data processing, Alexandru brings a sharp focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. His 18 years of experience in the global language and data industry make him an expert in designing and streamlining data operations to deliver consistent, measurable results for clients.

Driving DATAmundi’s Data Solutions Strategy 

In his new role, Alexandru will lead the AI Data Solutions Business Unit, overseeing the people, processes, technologies, and quality systems that underpin DATAmundi’s delivery excellence. He will be focused on scaling operations, driving process improvement, and developing strategies with key enterprise clients, including major technology partners, to establish DATAmundi’s position as a leading player in the growing data for AI market
